Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

The recovery was the worst part of the whole thing. Having giant holes in your mouth presents more problems than you could know until you have actually experienced it . The pain wasn't that big of a deal. I never even needed anything stronger than Ibuprofen...but it is just such a hassle trying to keep the areas clean.
That is the biggest thing I remember about the whole thing was dealing with the holes in my mouth so how bad could it have been, right?
You'll do great! Good luck!
You know, I was trying to think about why I was crying but I couldn't put my finger on why. But I think confusion is a good word. It wasn't pain....the whole area was pretty numb until 3- 4 hours later.....but yeah, it was just confusion and not knowing where I was. It was really just weird....and I can remember that I felt lost and I was crying SO hard. Its hard to remember it all too clearly because the meds they give you affect your memory. But I remember a girl next to me sobbing hysterically too. Can you imagine being a nurse in that office?!
But anyway, it only lasted a short time and by the time we left I was feeling fine and stopped for a milk shake...although I don't think I was supposed to but I was hungry and obviously couldn't chew anything.
I don't remember the procedure very much...I remember the tugging on my teeth and I remember hearing the anesthesiologist say I was waking up too much and they were going to give me more sedation.
But that's about it. It really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be....
The first time I found out I was pregnant I cried. The scared cry. We were trying to have a baby so it was no shocker to find out I was pregnant. My husband says to me....What's wrong? Is it the responsibility, the money, what? My response....I HATE NEEDLES! Boy do I understand the hate needles part.
Hang in there! I hope you heal quickly.
