I also think yoga is a great tool as well.
However, I feel that there are several changes or tools necessary to combat anxiety.
Diet, drinking tons of water, exercise, and changing negative thinking to a more positive one is the additional tools needed for banishing anxiety and returning to a healthy state.
I meditate while stretching and listening to binural beat music or music with positive affirmations embedded. I love to multitask as it keeps my monkey mind occupied. Sometimes I like to just meditate when life gets too heavy.
I went vegetarian a month ago and upped my water intake and it has helped me on so many levels. I'm not in judgement of anyone that eats meat, I kinda transitioned by default.
I tried chiropractor work as well as acupuncture and neither did much for me. I ended up changing to massage twice a month coupled with daily stretches, meditation, gratitude, walking, vegetarian diet with plenty of water and voila.......no to an occasional very low anxiety levels!
