Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. It's bothering me so much.. i do have compulsions in my life and this is my only obsession i've ever had. Maybe its because when i look in the mirror it reminds me of it again. How can i forget this? I already was at a therapist before i knew of my scoliosis so i never touched that subject. And i don't want to go to a therapist again. Is there an easy solution to this problem?
It makes me feel uneasy not knowing what exactly was the cause for my scoliosis. And when i look in the mirror i get reminded of that awful time back then when i had psychosis and anxiety. I deliberetaly refused to eat out of pure anger. And some 4 or 5 days in total, I did not eat anything at all. I lost weight down to 55 kg as a male from 16 to 19 years. My parents did not help either...
Then i gained weight really fast due to a pill and there was also a growth spurt when i grew 10 cm in a week. At 19 years of age they diagnosed me with a 20° S curve scoliosis. Im 21 now and my weight is good.
Because of this stupid scoliosis i always see the past and have fears. But it wouldnt matter if i knew that it was 100% genetic or something out of my control. How can i cure this obsession? How can i be free of anxiety?

Lately I've been feeling scared and full of anxiety. I recently found a lump under my nipple. I hurt my back too. I'm in the process of moving. I'm run down. Everything is hard

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

I've found further relief from separating the three phenom, 1) Obsessing, 2) Fear 3) Anxiety seem to respond to different exercises. Trying to deal with all three at once is a bit like trying to keep my hair clean in a shit storm.
