it could definately have something to do with hormones.
On my last period, my anxiety horrendous for a week before then first 2 days of i could not stop crying, it was uncontrolable, i was also upping and downing on meds so that prob didn,t help.
Some of the antideppressents/anxiety meds can really help out with the hormones.
I think sometimes having a pannic attack over an issue or place your scared of can make you feel set back and cross with yourself so it takes a while to bounce back.
Maybe you could talk to your doc about hormone issues and what to be done, exposure therapy or self help techniques to go with your meds.
Even if your afraid of meds i can tell you when you have one that works it,s worth it.
Ranting and raving is much better than keeping it all inside.
