Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. I feel your pain. I tried for years to try to be norm and work and just do what others think you should be doing. You have serious mental health concerns and anxiety is a killer. I would recommend talking to your doctor about clonapin. I had black outs from such bad anxiety nad I am doing so much better. As far as sleep ask about trazadone. It helps and it also helps with anxiety and mood. I am sorry your feeling this anxiety. i know what its like not knowing what to do and feeling like the world is crashing.
stick in there and I am always here to talk if need be.
But get some therapy with those meds my friend. it WILL help. one thing that lead to a breakthrough in sticking with therapy is I asked myself "what type/kind of therapist/counselor do I NOT want?" "what type of people or personalities trigger me and my environment?" try not to be so judgmental when asking yourself these things. I am a Native American who realized that in order to agree to therapy, I needed a Caucasian, male therapist. No ethnics, No females. I discovered why this was as I went through my therapy. But without realizing that, I would have never gone through with therapy. I got many offended and odd reactions to my request. why? because I went to an Indian Health service to start my Behavioral Health recovery. However, I got what I asked for and here i am, 4 years later-moved to the city and still in therapy-but my quality of life is a totally 180 to what I had before. I still need much work, but the results thus far have changed my life. Good luck to you and don't give up the fight!
god be with you.
