Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Are you getting enough sleep ? And if not being too nosey, do you exercise and watch your diet/nutrition ? I'm not at all meaning dieting, just watching what you eat.
Nutrition waxes and wanes but have been taking vitamins for a few weeks now.
My doctor is also ruling out other illness because I have mentioned more than once that I feel I may have CFS. I don't believe all my exhaustion is just due to depression as we have for years believed.
I just feel so sick of the fight right now.
I sure hope you feel better soon. I sure wish I had some advice for you but PLEASE don't give up on things. You'll get better... try to focus on something positive and pamper yourself a bit somehow. Perhaps getting a massage, pedicure, etc... anything that will make you feel good about yourself.
I have been doing pretty well but yesterday I got so tired after lunch I lay down and took a two hour nap. So if you feel tired, sleep. hang in there. Don' t give up I felt exactly the way you do in March and things are looking much better since I found a med (zoloft) that seems to be working for me. My prayers are with you.
on days like today its hard to remember that some days are far worse than others.
COgirlI am in DBT right now, but I find it not working too well. It seems the group discussion is spent with all the women talking about there individual issues from the week and my understanding was that that was not allowed during group. I am suppose to be receiving one on one with a counselor once a week but have yet to have those set up. I asked the pdoc is CBT would be better but he thinks not.
I think working is wearing me down as well. I just had a whole bunch of blood work
taken because Ive mentioned to my family doc again that I think I have CFS.
philly53you're right I should just sleep, but when I dont and get mad at myself for feeling so tired I get more upset, but then I usually continue further on a downslide. I get so exhausted if feels like I cant move and my muscles ache and hurt and that makes my anxiety increase wondering how Ill get through the day.
laniecherr....I am on meds and the pdoc is still working on the increases for the anxiety. I will just have to try to rest more on days like today and try to remember that I need to keep fighting. It is just so hard.
Thank you ECCI too hope to feel some moments of peace soon. I hope!
Thanks again to everyone and anyone I may have missed.
