4. Do things that make you feel good 5. Take a break from feeling bad for a while. 6. Distract yourself- 7. Watch a funny movie. .8. Look for ways to break the cycle 9. Don't "what if " on your self- like what if this happen. or what if I do this, etc. 10. Don't "should on" yourself either. For example: I should be doing thisd or I shouldn't have done that. 11. You don't have to go through this alone - seek help. 12. Live in the moment- Tell yourself this moment right now is ok. I am going to enjoy it, and do something you enjoy and keep doing that over and over. 13. Speak to yourself as you would speak to a friend. 14. work on healing yourself. 15. By eating : Eat a healthy meal -food that increase serotonins: oatmeal, yogurt, walnuts, turkey, salmon, etc. 16. By Scent: Put on perfume or a scented lotion, or a scented candle and enjoy the scen. 19. By touch: Feel that lotion how it is smooth and how nice it makes your skin feel. Garden-if you like the feel of dirt. 20. By humor: Watch a fuuny movie. Look up some jokes. 21. Hang around positive people (and situations) 22. Change your environment. 23. Get creative: Draw, paint, cook . 24. Talk positive to yourself 25. Don't let a bad moment, morning, day ruin it. Tell yourself I had a bad moment and now it is over, The end. This moment is good. 26. Try affirmation for at least a couple of ,minutes. For example: I am strong and confident. I may have a weak moment but I can handle it. I know how to take care of my needs emotionally and physically. I talk to myself in a positive manner. I deserve to feel good right now. I know exactly how to manage my daily schedule to promote my emotional and physical well-being. I listen to my body needs and regulate my activity level to take care of those needs. I love and honor my body. 27. Visualize: Sit in a comfortable positions. Close your eyes, imagine that you are a big, strong, massive oak tree. Your trunk is wide. Your limbs are big and strong and they extend for a mile and your roots are strong. and they run deep . Look at your roots they go deeps and wide. You are this strong tree. Your body is the trunk. Your feet are the roots and your arms are the tree branches. You feel strong , confident, and grounded. You can handle any storm. 27. Start a journal - one section list at east 3 positive things daily that has happen to you, (personally I least ten things) They can be as simple as The weather was nice or the shower felt great on my skin. The grass beneath my feet felt wonderful. Look for the good. Another section write about what is bothering you. Just write. Don't worry about the spelling, don't reread it-just write. Another section write a list of things you can do when you are feeling down or panicky or blue. An Action plan.
