As you say, what works for one person may not work for another, but your dr. needs to know how you are really feeling, and make a decision from there.

The Wellbutrin seems to keep me out of that dragged down feel, but does nothing for my anxiety.
I would talk to your doctor about switching up to something else. My sister got depressed after taking her Lexapro for about a year and half.
You could always try no drugs to see how you feel without them. That is up to you and your doctor to experiment with. I would have a backup plan if you decide to do that. I do know that every time I have switched to something else, my doctor had me go two weeks with nothing to get the other drug and its reactions out of my system.If yours does that after weaning you off the Lexapro, you will probably get a since of whether you are getting better or worse.
Crispymomma, I do think it's depression. I took a couple of online screening tests and both showed that I was suffering from depression. That is how it feels, completely emotionless. I don't even cry at all anymore and I'm the type of person who normally weeps over commercials.
It's funny, but I kinda feel like the anxiety was masking the depression for a long time. Now the anxiety is a lot lower, it's like the depression was uncovered.
