One thing I’ve tried is YouTube ASMR videos
There is anything you can just think of made for ASMR For instance, I like listening to somebody Washing dishes as long as they’re not clanging together a lot
There are a lot of them specifically for anxiety or relaxation
Sometimes I like watching somebody mopping a floor On ASMR video
Other times, just listening to people talk
Sounds crazy, but Bigfoot stories on YouTube are pretty cool. Yes, I know they are not all true, but even if it’s not a true story, it’s cool to listen to
Dixie Cryptid has really cool ones Some of them are a little too detailed
There are very few sites that offer live chat for people with depression or anxiety, but there is one or two etc. out there
I truly feel for you
Not being able to sleep, makes any anxiety even worse
I hope you’re better now
I am anxious from events that happened 30-some year's ago, which I know I need to forget......Happened such a long time ago, It seems ridiculous to think about now.
But, I am trying to forget.
I am on sleeping pills that only last for 8 hours, I try to just stay in bed, and just fall back to sleep, But, the anxiety get's me up.
I used to listen to music (still do once in awhile) On a very low volume, And also have room-darkening shades.
Hope that helps
Ps There is a prayer I was taught, That helps me:
Dear Jesus, By Your blood and Your stripes, Satin leave my body.
Rieno2 there’s nothing as annoying as anxiety right before one is just about to fall asleep.
Abihimanyu those are some wonderful coping skills you mention.
Thanks, Ontime!!
