Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

If you can arrange it, you might benefit from some form of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This is a form of therapy in which you learn to challenge the irrational thoughts that help make you anxious. It helped me a lot.
Meantime, I will share a bit of wisdom I found in a good book on anxiety: your feelings don't predict the future.
Good luck!
My heart goes out to you,it is a
terrible affliction. Since your worries are so
spread out (for want of better description), I
thought you may like to look at the following
book: "Addicted To Unhappiness," by man+wife docs,Martha and William J.Peiper.
I know it sounds crazy, who in their right
(conscious) mind would want to be addicted
to misery? Well, that's just the point,it is NOT
the conscious mind that is doing it--it is the
UNCONSCIOUS mind! And it is through a
confusion we made when we were children,
between happiness and unhappiness.
I think this may help you--besides,what's to
lose? Although not 'cured',I have improved a
hell of a lot,and stopped blaming myself.
Kind Regards,
jimindigo
Dont give up hope, I almost did, I could not drive anymore. But know with my meds, therapy and some self help I am doing much better. I can drive, still not thrilled with it, but dont have the panic attacks while driving anymore. Good Luck and God Bless, dont give up looking for answers.
