emeron one of the most efficient antidepressants
People with depression have for a long, long time been diagnosed as nothing more than people who like to moan a lot, while those more unfortunate were deemed unstable or even possessed in the old days. Luckily, depression has been acknowledged as a serious condition and ever since, there have been developments in the ways in which depression can be treated and people who are suffering from depression enabled to once again lead a normal life. It all started in the mid-20th century when first antidepressants were developed. Over the years, more and more new types of antidepressants have been introduced and one of the last ones are tetracyclic antidepressants, one of which is Remeron. It was introduced in Remeron and since then, it has become one of the most commonly prescribed antidepressants due to its efficiency in treating major depressive disorder. In fact, several studies have shown that Remeron is actually the most efficient antidepressant on the market and both the safest. One of its most important properties is that it is also suitable for use in conjunction with other medications as there are no known interactions with other medications that have any significant effects on a patients health. However, Remeron is not only used for treating depressive disorders. It is also employed in cases of generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, seasonal affective disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, insomnia, nausea and vomiting, weight loss caused by diminished appetite as well as itching. Even more uses for this medication have been researched and it is only a time before some of those uses become regular practice.
So far I've noticed a lot of side effects, but with a mild improvement in my overall mood with regards to anxiety and depression. The side effect that's been the most troublesome for me is bouts of severe nausea that can hit at any time during the day or night. In addition to this has been mild headaches and a general feeling of being "out of it".
The best indication that my anxiety is improving is that I've only taken Xanax once during the last week. I'm hoping to see a continuing decrease in my Xanax use as my Viibryd dosage increases. I'll try to give updates on how I'm doing over the next couple of weeks.
Just a note: I've been on almost every other anti-depressant on the market and none of them have helped. The med that helped me the most was lamotrigine which is used to treat bipolar disorder, but at $240 a month, it wasn't a long term option. I'm guessing this may be a problem with Viibryd as well, since it's so new.
