Anxiety can have both short-term and long-term causes and solutions.
Talking about your anxiety is a good place to start. My anxiety is usually a signal that something is not right...too much worrying, overstretched, denial, poor choice, trying to avoid facing something, too much 'me', etc. It can also have physical causes, so you should consider that too.
But, my goal is to find out what is causing the anxiety. Anxiety is not something that you need to accept as a new normal, especially long term. It is caused by something else that needs to be addressed and it robs you of peace and rest.
Too often the screaming immediate pain leads to only short-term answers. Persevere and find out what's going wrong and what needs to change. Church, counselor, family, friends can be great supporters of your growth.
