What I know...
Not every SSRI works for everyone. I went through 3-4 without success. It was only after I read numerous posts on another mental health website did I find out about Effexor. I used it and found some modicum of success, in fact, I'm considering going back on it for about a year. That doesn't mean it's right for you. You're going to have to try several meds before you find one that works. Unfortunately that may take months as it take about 4-8 weeks for the effects to kick in, then you have to wait 6-8 weeks to notice any improvement.
Don't give up though. It's much better than letting the anxiety/depression take over.

I'm on remeron, 90mg. Started taking it last Sept. and have been on 90 for a couple of months. It does have a sedating effect, especially at night. I haven't found that the increases in dosage have made the side effects any worse. If you've gotten this far with this med, then I think you are over the worst part. It was really hard to get through the first month.
Hope you feel better.
