Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. As for help, you have any friends or family nearby that you can spend some time with and possibly get some support while you're going through this tough time. Sometimes just having someone to confide in could help you out.
Hope things get better for you soon!
One thing you might say to yourself during your chat is "I can do this." And repeat it throughout the day. Another thing that is helpful during anxiety is writing. It makes you objective. It is impossible to write without being objective and when you are objective your perspective changes which enables you to examine your inner thoughts. The reason I suggest this is that your inner thoughts are what causes your anxiety.
We all have an inner monologue talking to us constantly. When this monologue is negative and filled with self-sabotaging "Oh no", "I'm a mess", "How can I go on?", etc, your brain wires itself accordingly. It's simple brain chemistry.
There is a cute little movie named "What the Bleep do We Know?"
It's entertaining and very informative about how the brain chemistry wires the brain and makes us who we are. The good news is simple and the most important thing you need to remember is this: If you become aware of your self-sabotaging inner monologue and the negative, fearful bullshit that it is saying over and over and over again, you are then in a position to DISPUTE IT. Dispute the negative with rational positive arguments.
It is a good idea to do this with pen and paper. Draw a line down the center of a sheet of paper and on the left side write down the self-talk that makes you anxious. On the right side write down your rational positive argument. If you do this habitually, your inner monologue will soon become rational and positive and the chemistry in your brain changes and the brain begins to rewire itself creating a new you.

Here you'll find all the self-sabotaging inner monologues that cause us symptoms. Pay special attention to "Load of Crap Number 6" and all the others that describe your negative thinking. Learn them and learn the arguments and DISPUTE, DISPUTE, DISPUTE. And begin by telling yourself several times a day: "I can do this" and "I have the tools to beat anxiety and depression."
Anxiety and depression are curable and WE, OURSELVES are the best medicine to make it happen.
