Anxiety Support Group

Antibiotics do put a certain amount of stress on the body.
Unless I was experiencing life-threatening side-effects, I would complete the course. It's only a few more days.
You should call your doctor if you have concerns.
The normal regimen for antibiotics is about a week. I would listen to the ER doctor, and then I would call my doctor and talk to him about what was said. Taking antibiotics causes resistant bacteria that no longer responds to antibiotics.
The best thing to do is to get off drugs and change the diet so that one no longer gets sick. And if a person gets an infection, there are natural ways to help the body fight it off. Like vitamin C.

Here are a bunch of free lectures by Dr John McDougall. I was listening to him yesterday and he has sound advice. As a medical doctor in Hawaii, he got to see firsthand and connect diet to health, and he lectures medical doctors about their practices, about prescribing drugs that don't work in many cases. For example, no one has even been cured of diabetes with diabetic drugs. All the drugs do is manage the symptoms.

Doctors do not cure diabetes, heart disease, headaches, hypoglycemia, arthritis, asthma, high blood pressure, colitis, lupus, etc. All they do is give you drugs to try to manage the symptoms. And those drugs have side effects, which they give you another drug to treat.
Dr McDougall has a free program for regaining your health.

Dr Joel Fuhrman is another medical doctor who has recognized that things need to change in this country. His website is full of information and you can find out more about nutritional excellence.
Here is an article about food nutrient density. Green leafy vegetables are superb sources of nutrition, and actually have more protein than steak, when measuring per calorie, which is really the sane way to measure, and not by weight.
