Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
For me, what made the biggest difference was changing my life circumstances -- being around more compassionate people, getting a better job, developing closer social bonds. Techniques like meditation and exercise help, but I personally found that living a life that was better for my emotional state was vital.
Are there issues in your life that trouble you? (It took me a while to realize that about myself, so doing introspection by talking to people, keeping a journal, etc. was helpful.)
I hope you're feeling better and that you'll stay active on this board to let us know how you're doing.
I'm sorry I haven't offered much advice, but I'm truly sorry things are so difficult for you .
Big hugs~

Time is the only cure - but it IS the cure. It DOES cure. You don't have to worry for the future because it does turn a corner and start getting better. You barely notice at the time, but you can see it looking back.
What tricks have I learned?
Swimming. That helps. going aquajogging and then lazing in the hot pool. Even with no friends with me, without my glasses I am quite blind so I don't feel exposed or lonely.
Crying a lot.

Take care. I'm still not together after 5 years - I don't quite feel at home in my own home. Not the way I always used to. Don't feel like housework - some kind of disconnect. But otherwise I'm fine. Functioning at work, etc.
Thank you for the kind words and suppport!!!!
The first month I didn't get out of my chair. I was numb, didn't want to have to relate to humans - couldn't relate. Couldn't remember what they were saying, etc.
the second month I barely did anything, but did feel a little brighter.
The third month I felt like going for walks a bit.
they also fiddled with antidepressants. One antidepressant I put on 10kg in 4 weeks. My daughter said afterwards I was dishing her up twice sized meals. I had no awareness of this. the antidepressant I settled for was a slight upper, so I didn't eat like crazy and felt more energised.
it still took over a year after that for me to feel safe relating to humans. but I can hold down a job and mostly get along.
Maybe you need to increase or add anti anxiety until you figure something out.
Hate to hear about your suffering.
And I agree. Time and the patience to let it run...
The best of lucks,
