Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I'm a single dad of four kids, three girls and one boy. Physically I have a spine issue, spinal stenosis. For the meantime, I am turning down any surgery. Mentally I am a proud owner of depresion, OCD, ADD, anxiety, agoraphobia, and bipolor, which most from what I am learning is just part of my extreme bipolor-ness. Its so hard raising four kids and most of the times I can't even balance my self out. I live with headphones on my ears so I can hear something else other than my thoughts. I wish so dearly to be able to sit down and interact with my children on more basis as in daily instead of it feeling rare. I am so alone and when I reach out usually goes south. I've created facebook accounts left and right, but at the end just put them out to be deleted. I am in an endless cycle of imbalance. If my OCD is disatisfy my depression starts. Then I over think whatever it maybe and my ADD and anxiety go overboard that its still early in the day I am exhausted and on the floor trying to come back. I was in school, but my agoraphobia made it hard so had to stop for the mean time. Really there's so much more, but when is there not. Right now I feel like well that I have no feelings and is why I am writing and going on notes from journals. I don't know maybe I am seeking help/advise from a single parent that deals with similar things daily. Idk. For some reason, I want to apologize or maybe not.

Hope the dog days of summer aren't getting you down!

I know 3 people with severe Anxiety and Depression issues all their lives.
Two were very suicidal.
They all were on meds that worked at times but they had to keep changing their meds too.
Finally they got together and started to read about all the Foods and Vitamins and Herbs that help with Anxiety and Depression.
They quit taking their meds. Most people thought that was foolish. But they stayed firm on changing their diets.
Many foods actually help to build up your Dopamine and Serotonin levels, (your Feel good chemicals). Other foods, can block, or inhibit dopamine and serotonin from entering your bloodstream.
There are Vitamins that are premixed in bottles that are for Anxiety and Depression.
They forced themselves to exercise often.
A study..... has shown that if a person exercises 3 times a week. (A strenuous exercise for 45 minutes). Its as good as taking a Zoloft everyday.
Changing diets and eating those GOOD foods made a huge impact in their lives. And they said they feel better than ever.
No one can change you. But you need to find the interest and gumption to do so.
Doctors have known for years, that exercise isn't just good for your body. But good for your mental health too.
Nothing will change till you decide to make a change. And nothing works over night. It takes weeks before you will feel and notice a difference.
Single parenting is not on the list of problems I've had to face, but I have a regrettable amount of experience with parenting while dealing with my own mental illness. It is no easy juggling act. Support needed. Hope you find some of the needed support here.
