While it may not be your intention, your post made me very uncomfortable when you chose to single out women and compare them to taking medication. I question what your motives honestly are by posting here.
Maybe trying a different approach and being a bit more open to the ENTIRE community would be more beneficial to you if you are honestly suffering and looking for support.
Andre, I really hope that you are feeling hopeful and that you have positive and helpful ideas to cope with your anxiety. And, by the way, you explained your desires quite perfectly. And you have the right and privilege to handle your own needs as you see fit and not by what others simply desire for you. Please stay encouraged to continue with your wise choices. I hope the best for you!
Just click away and see the kind of things people say here and you will get a feel of what this site is about. I don't believe you are going to find too many posts like this one. Sorry your experience has not started out good.
I wish you the best of luck with your decision on what your next post will say. Everyone is here to help each other.
I am glad that we were able to keep it light and make comments to get the point across that this type of post is not helping with our own anxiety.
Andre it appears you have a defender, but for the most part women here look out for each other because since most us suffer from anxiety and panic attacks. There is a need to feel as safe possible on a public message board. It may be an illusion that we are safe, but we do stand up for each other and there is safety in numbers.
