Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I wake up everyday feeling dizzy and weird I can barely ever go one second feeling normal I never feel normal I have four kids and I have to stay strong for them and act like nothing's wrong with me when deep down inside I'm fighting this scary anxiety attack 24/7 I be feeling like I'm dying sometimes I can't cover it or control it and I end up calling the ambulances I have called them so much their tired of me and they told me that they can't keep helping me I be scared to go to sleep because I'm scared that I might not wake back up...I think what triggers my anxiety attacks all day everyday is the fact that I have seizures and I shake so bad I'm scared that I'll go into a seizure it has happened before.I wish this feeling would just go away and leave me alone I'm a single often doing everything alone by myself I don't ask for nothing from no one does anyone know anyway that I can control these better I go to the hospital at least once a week or once every two weeks... and I'm tired of it I'm tired of my kids seeing me this way...

Hope the dog days of summer aren't getting you down!

if you are on medication ask your doctor if there are side effects /contraindications
I would also consider downloading the app called, Insight Timer. Anytime you start getting thoughts that you know will trigger anxiety- do a meditation. You can figure out a few of different lengths that speak to you and bookmark them to find them quickly when needed. I recognize with kids this may be difficult but it’s something you may have to involve your kids with if you’re not able to find someone to help.
Put these 2 thoughts on a piece of paper and post them where you spend most time:
1. Thoughts are not facts.
2. You always have your breath. Take 3 deep slow breaths ( to bring yourself back to the moment that is here).
These instantly back you out of a rabbit hole you might be climbing into and then slow your heart rate, your mental pace and that’s half the battle with anxiety.
Wishing you peaceful thoughts. We’re here for you.
Hugs
I can NOT stress this enough. Most doctors do not check for deficiencies or do not do the correct tests. They only have 7 hours in medical school on nutrition and vitamins. They are paid to write prescriptions and never get to the root cause of any illness. They only know how to treat symptoms. Anxiety is curable in most cases.
I'm suspecting as a single mom, you might not be getting proper nutrition (I remember those days myself......eating on the run......skipping meals becuz of work and kids, etc.). It's easy to do. No judgement from me. Just an observation.
I would talk to your doctor and ask for a full panel work up for deficiencies. Seizures can also be caused by deficiencies. Again.Check with your doctor or see a homeopathic practioner......perhaps a comprehensive chiropractor that does naturopathic medicine?
If it is a deficiency, good quality supplements are a must (Walmart and Walgreen brands are synthetic and the body does not know what to do with them.....so they are eliminated). You can get good deals on Amazon.
Also, you need to give them a few weeks to kick in.....depending on how deficient you are and if you have gut issues, they also need to be addressed to help the supplements to be absorbed properly.
Drink plenty of fresh water as dyhydration also can causes anxiety. Plus it helps keep your kidneys working properly to flush toxins from your body.
Turn off ALL negative media.....it only keeps you in a loop of doom and depression.
Once you balance your magnesium or other deficiencies and eat better, your sleep will also improve.
Get moving!!!! Exercise of at least 20 minutes 4 times a week (daily is ideal, but you can work your way up) makes a big difference.
I don't go to the gym, but I put on motivational tapes and do 45 minutes of stretching. I walk 20 minutes 4 times a week when weather permits....sometimes I walk at the mall in the winter.
These are what worked for me. I have been clear of anxiety for the past 3 years after suffering for several years. I actually covered up my anxiety of 45 years with smoking. I quit 7 years ago and that is when all hell broke loose.
PPl don't realize how diet (gut health) is vital to your mental and physcial well being......but it really is!
I wish you and everyone here the best.
For me, I read the Bible, prayed, listened to Christian music and surrounded myself with a good support group where I could talk with them about my troubles and they would pray with me. Can I pray for anything specific for you and your children? I pray for you now, asking that the Lord provide you with comfort, security in Him, restored health, a good group of friends, and returned joy. In Jesus Name. Amen.
