Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. 1). Look around the room and touch as many things as you can and name them. The more texture you touch the better you will be. This brings you back into the room.
2). Stand with your feet flat on the floor. Imagine roots growing out from the bottom of your feet and calves and going down to the core of the earth. Picture the roots wrapping around the core of the earth and pulling you down so you feel firmly attached to the earth. It has happened before when I didn't have anything "urgent" to do so it was just sort of really funny that I was so slow w/ thinking and moving
