Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I will have crying spells and go to a deep dark place and I know I don't eat bc I don't feel like I deserve the nutrition and I should just wither away in a pool of tears.
I pray there is someone in your life who doesnt ask but just brings you a small plate of snacks and a glass of water and walks away. You will eat it. Bc you will realize your hungry and it's like...right there. And you will eventually stop crying. And you will get up and rock on.

Crying does help me relieve stress but I haven’t in a while.
Have you tried watching a sad movie maybe to help bring on the tears and just get it out?
Playing video games or listening to music helps me unload some of the stress.
Makes me realize I don’t need to solve every problem in that moment and I need (deserve) time to relax and gather myself.
This is the first post I ever replied to and I hope I helped a bit. So many people have been so great with their advice, so I figured I can lend some advice too. Not to take anything way from your post. Just want to help.
Hope all is well!
Thank you for sharing with us. I know it can be difficult sometimes and it takes courage to share these things. Further, I am sorry that you are having such high anxiety right now. I can remember when I fell at work almost eight years ago. Though I was in a lot of physical pain, I also suffered from an extremely high level of anxiety due to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and severe depression. I was crying all the time, only slept an hour at night, and I never ate.
There were a lot of things that helped pull my way out of that pit (adjusting pain meds inpatient, putting me on anti-depressant, etc.), but the one that did the most for me was reconnecting with Jesus. I had prayed to accept Him into my heart long ago, but started having a "poor me" pity party. I got down on my knees (which was pretty painful, but I did it anyway) and just laid out my heart before Him. After that, I felt His presence immediately! Started reading the Bible (Psalms and Proverbs mainly) daily, praying, and fasting. Though the medicine does little to help my anxiety, Jesus does.
Please know that I will be praying for you.
May God bless you!
Kevin
Hope things get better for you!
