Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I wish that feeling would leave and never come back again too. But I'm getting better at responding to it with the right variety of positive thinking. Today I felt better than I have for a good while.

For example, we go to the store or mall, we feel uncomfortable..then all of a sudden we are like "what if..this happens or that happens"..and we keep going on. We then fear these sensations or uncomfortable feeling. We want them to go away. But they keep coming...because we are telling our bodies that something is wrong. When we do that..our body goes on the fight or flight response and more adrenalin kicks in..leading to more anxiety, etc. If we say "I want this to go away"..we are then telling our body/brains that THIS IS WRONG..so it reacts as if it is..and gives more uncomfortable feelings. Does that make sense? It's call second fear. Anyway, doesn't feel good..but we have to try to allow ourselves to feel this discomfort.
When we leave the situation, the more we obsess about it...and add more second fear...the more it stays around. We need to allow our body to return to norm and not try to scare ourselves. It's not the place, it's the thought. Sucks..but true. HOpe this helps.
It can feel terrible..I know. Not underestimating that...but we do need to accept the feeling in order to move forward. We are here for you.
