Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Yeah you're right, thank you for pointing that out. She doesn't have enough confident to be herself. I don't think I can love her the way we were before, even though she's not that bad. There was 1 incident: 3 years ago when we were about to move to a new home, I got myself 2 little kitties that I love so much. The mother cat couldn't take care of them, so I took them & trying to persuade my parents to keep them, at least until we can find somebody reliable and like the idea of having 2 new kitties. They almost agreed. Seeing me getting attached with the cats, I don't know what my sister was thinking. When things were going on smoothly, my sister was at it again. Waiting for me to turn around someday, and she took the liberty of taking the kittens away to a woman that I never met to take care of them, saying she would like cats. Just recently, It turned out that the woman abandoned the kittens cruelly since they made a mess in her house, only that! And I know she was telling the truth. She spilled it out with a happy, satisfied expression & let me hearing that. I could't help it but want to cut all ties with her.
Now thinking about that, I just can't. It'd sadden my parents a lot. But how can I love a person like her while the fact is she can make me sick. Sad thing is: whenever I directly criticize (not trying to set up competition of any kind), she sneaks away and make herself a victim!! She'd alarm the parents, her friends & her stupid boyfriend so that I'd become a guilty one. Never for once for a long time that she shows content with her own abilities. And yet she appears to be outgoing, active with other people. I never meet that kind of personality except my sister. Or maybe I'm exaggerating a bit here, maybe somebody that's not quite close would be more open-minded toward her, I don't know....
The other point is to find out exactly why that distance was created in the first place. Proverbs 19:11 says, "The insight of a man certainly slows down his anger, and it is beauty on his part to pass over transgression." Understanding if it's her way of coping with her own insecurities, desire for attention, or negative feelings can help you to find ways to try to mend that broken relationship.
Overall, even if she doesn't respond in the way you would hope, trying your best to remain calm actually will give you your own inner peace. It'll keep you from allowing yourself to use up your energy being angry, and also will speak volumes to others that are watching you and see your maturity in the situation.
