chronic anxiety.
I've called up crisis teams etc feeling suicidal and been told its not a 'crisis crisis' :s
I think here they only really take you into hospital if your REALLY bad. I got admitted to hospital when I had caused a massive massive gash in my arm and my friend got admitted when she threw herself out of a taxi on a dual carriage way.
I don't think they take you in unless there is a risk to your life.
By the sounds of your issues, severe depression etc you need to go visit your gp and get them to sort you out and decide whats best. But its generally not up to you whether you go to hospital its up to medical professionals to decide.
Big Hugs!.
Here in the UK treatment for ppl with anxiety/depression is abysmal, you really have to be very bad, taken an overdose or slit your wrists before they do anything. Or if you phone for an appointment to see a ps doc, you're told they don't have enough docs and there are no appointments.
I hope you get the help you need, hugs
