Suddenly, or so it seemed, I have become this scared, anxious and extremely unconfident person. In this last week, I have had 3 panic attacks and my anxiety is off the scale. Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. Go to the gym. Take a picture of the dogs with you to remind you that you are not alone.
Panic attacks are normal reactions to overwhelming anxiety sensations left to nature's response. Stay hydrated, use gentle motion to get your movement back to normal, breathe, practice breathing exercises to release the tension in your face and body, and remind yourself that this is natural, nothing is wrong.
Normal for anxiety, means that you have a better awareness of anxiety than most people. To put the awareness back to normal range in daily living activities means taking the first step, and breathing, and keep going.
Best wishes. Welcome to this group!
