For example, I was suppose to go to a training class last week but the second I was told I had to go I started thinking about what I was going to do if I had a panic attack and how I was going to handle it. By doing that I kinda *told* myself that I SHOULD have one because I was making myself think about it.
I hope this makes sense! So maybe because you were nervous or hadn't wanted to increase your dosage, when you did you responded with anxiety because you has prepped yourself for believing you didn't want to?!
Oh my, I hope that makes sense. If after a few days you still feel lousy you should probably talk to your doctor; Lexapro just might not be right for you then.
Also, do you have other anxiety strategies for coping? It helps to make a BIG mental toolbox of things to do when your anxious. Just the process of thinking what toll your going to use can help relieve the anxiety. Tricky huh?!
