Still blames me that I didn’t handle the whole sports thing.
Please make it go away.
I married someone who is the complete opposite of me.
He’s intense and demanding and controlling.
I want a happy life. I am proud of my kids.
He calls names and calls everyone liars. It’s unreal
The other side of it is I want him to love me and I want everything to be okay.
But it never will be. It’s impossible
This is the time to care about yourself and your mental health. My brother is controlling, excessive anger, miserable person. I have tried to help him over the years. But he refuses to work on himself. And everyone else is at fault not him.
Start caring about you for a change.
I’ve been trying to take care of myself. I’ve been doing that by not engaging.
He obviously couldn’t stand it anymore.
He was literally brining up stuff from so long that i couldn’t remember.
I believe the only reasons I want to stay are because of the kids.
There is never a calm time with him. He has all the answers. He calls me a liar, he says I don't want to be a wife, but how could I with someone who puts me down constantly and calls me every name.
BTW I don't think I have ever called him a name.
He would let them suffer so I have to go out in the cold, because he does so much and I’m useless like his kids.
You've successfully brought this situation to this point - and yet, you're still wanting it to change. So, pick your choice and move with it.
Feelings do not change a person. When you put yourself first and the animals are in a safe environment, you will begin the long road towards healing your well-being and you will find you.
The only hope for him to figure out how much he cares about you is for you to step back and keep your balance in the positive direction.
Your kids are adults. They choose their path. You now choose yours.
Writing it out is letting it out, but that alone will not make things change.
