Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
It stems from having been attacked, beaten, shot, etc. I also suffered from every form of child abuse you could think of. So, yeah, I get mad. Keeping it in check is what I need help with. I have PTSD and I need help dealing with the anger getting out of control when my anxiety comes. I am a really sweet, nice guy. But if I get anxious for fear I can turn into a monster. I need help.
Getting angry began my journey on conquering anxiety. It is exhausting to feel as if every nerve in your body is exposed 24/7. I got so tired of anxiety attacks that it really did make me mad after a while.
Fight mode can be a very positive thing if used correctly.

It needs balance. For darkness there HAS to be light.
Saying NO is the first trick in the book of CBT, learning to say NO and stop your mind when it starts to run away with itself down a negative path so yeah its a good thing but it needs a leash, containment. Otherwise fight becomes something far more ugly called revenge and bitterness and that is something none of us needs because it rips something off you that once you take that step over that line you can never get back. Not without a sh*t tonne of effort anyway.
Sometimes in this life only a devil can save you. Sometimes only an Angel can. You find a place somewhere in the middle and you pretty much got it covered.

Its just a thought but have you considered that if you are suffering with mood swings that severe that you may have bipolar? Bp is not something that we are solely born with, yeah it does run in families and there is evidence to support an inherent quality but it is also possible for Bp to be triggered by trauma and you sound like you have had more than your fair share.
I am probably totally wrong and if i am i do apologise for suggesting it, i mean i dont know you at all but if you have time head over to the Bipolar group and look at some of the posts on there.
You never know you may find some answers.
God Bless you will be in my prayers.
