I'm freaking out right now I'm suppose to go on a field trip today with my son and I am so freaked right now! I don't know if I can do this. Why did I agree to do this? I shouldn't put myself in these positions. I'm soooo scared and I don't know why. I wish I could just be normal and just do things like this with no worries.

That is something I say to myself all the time. Some things that help me is taking a deep breathe and trying to focus my mind on different things. I think I saw your post before and you were talking about this and I believe you said you were driving if that's the case turn the radio on and that might help. I have a doctors appointment today myself for my allergies and I'm kind of nervous about that because they might have to retest me which is not fun. Luckily, my mom is taking me so having her with me is a little bit of a relief and the office is in a hospital so that helps too. I hope everything goes ok for you though just try and relax and enjoy this time with your son and have fun. I know that's easier said then done but its not impossible.

How many times have I done that, agreed to something then when the time comes I regret it, but I don't let it stop me and usually when im there after awhile I feel better. I hope you go and it turns out fine, the more we do the better it is for us, good luck, Susie x

I did go on the field trip and all in all it was a pretty good day there were some though moments though and thank god my sister was able to come with me otherwise I don't think I would have been able to go and then I would of sat home all day feeling terribly guilty because I didn't go. I am glad to be home but still feel reeved up after the day i'm proud of myself for going but I have to learn that I don't have to be at everyone of my kid's functions.

Im glad you went and you should be proud of yourself..its amazing how powerful desensitizing can be...I suffer from agoraphobia and when I was able to go to ohio it was life changing however it made me feel like I didn't need my meds and 9 months later here I am..but im back on them and so far its been really good..now if I get anxious I just get a stomach ache which is better compared to all the other problems id get when I wasn't taking the meds.
