i wouldnt encourage drug use in any shape or form and i know there are links with smoking hash and mental health issues so i do think it is positive for many reasons to try to stop this altogether, having said that there may be other underlying issues causing the panic, or a combination of the hash and something else
the first thing you have to do is speak to a doctor to confirm your medical situation, panic and anxiety is curable, but you will need to find time on a daily basis initiatlly to dedicate to your healing, your music is good for relaxation, any right brained activity will kepp you in a relaxed state and this will prevent anxiety, we cant be relaxed and anxious at the same time so its about fiding things that will keep you relaxed.
meditation, light exercise, breating exercises , eft all of these can and will help you may just have to work out which one or ones are best for you,
if you need any info on any of these techniques please mnessage me and i will support you with this
also if youcould get access to a psychologist, even if the issue is not so deep routed talking therapy can really support our healing
I have been trying some of thoes methods of coping with whats going on. excercise has seemed to be working the best.
I also have stoped doing drugs, it was not a smart move to start smoking again to begin with, and i understand that now..thats for sure.
When it first started happening i went to numerous doctors who always wanted to direct me to a Psychologsy, but i was so convinced it was not my head i would not go. I belived it was something Physical.
I've also noticed i get some random panic attacks while drinking alcohol also. For example last night i had one beer (light beer at that) and about 15 mins later i had a rush of heat come over my body and right away i was like "uh oh.." but i was acctually quite surprised, i went into my bathroom, looked at myself and talked myself right out of it before it even got close to peaking.
the other good thing is you are actually acknowledging that you are having a panic attack and facing it, acceptance is a big part of recovery
anxiety can make us believe our symtopms are physical illnesses thats why it can take so ong for us to realise whats going on and by that time we have convinced ourselfs that we are about to die !! when reality is we are panicking again you seem to be aware of this
if you have the opportunity to see a psychologist i would go, it will do no harm and if there is something else that you are maybe not looking at as a trigger at the moment then it may reveal itself at the sessions and allow you to work through it, take all the help you can get
study show only in the males who smokes POt.. are more at risk to Prostate cancer thought i throw that out there
This women smoked pot like it was going out ot style and I got high thinking it would help me calm down. Now mind you, when I was younger I was a pot head from the word go.
The pot didn't affect my panic at all and did help me laugh a little, but was just not for me!
I am not one to preach at anybody for what they try or don't try because I figure everybody at some point in their lives have tried smoking pot.
What about asking your regular doctor for something like xanax or ativan or one of the other many drugs out there? why do they want you to see a Pdoc? That is just crazy. I get my anti anxiety and my anti depressants from my regular doctor?
Best of luck in your ventures, I wish you well!
