Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Hang in there!
Keep your strength up with lots of fluids to stay hydrated, and easy to consume foods - I lived off of soups and apple sauce when I was recovering. You don't want to try eating anything that requires excessive chewing (probably best to avoid chewing at all) and don't drink out of a straw as that can lead to dry sockets which, thanks to my awesome* luck, I got (along with a fever) just when I was beginning to heal up that set me back a few steps.
I really feel for you - the best advice I can give to you is that it is absolutely crucial to be on total bed rest in order to heal the quickest. It sucks having to miss work and the added stress of bills and unsympathetic support on top of the pain. But if you don't rest now, and try to keep working and talking, it will take you SO much longer to recover and it may cause even more problems that could set you back weeks, months even.
Once I got out of the hospital, and after a round of antibiotics and pain killers, it took about a week for the worst of it to pass, at which point the stitches dissolved, I was off the pain pills, the swelling was just about gone, I was starting to eat more types of food and the pain was just a dull throb. I had a set-back with the dry sockets I got, and it probably took a good 3 weeks until I was completely healed and back to normal. But it will vary with each case - it also hugely depends on the care given during recovery: i.e., not too much stress, lots of rest, fluids, pain management, rinsing mouth out with salty water, taking it super easy even when you start to feel better - do NOT push yourself too soon 'cos it will just end up setting you back and take longer for you to heal.
I'm so jealous of the stories I hear from people who have had their wisdom teeth extracted and were back to normal the next day... just goes to show how different each case is - you really cannot generalize because each experience will be different.
I'm here if you need any virtual support or even just someone to chat with. I really hope you feel better soon!! :) I may not always have advice to give but I'm a pretty good listener, and am never judgemental. I say that < but I just have to add, shame on your friends for not treating you with some respect and dignity - it just totally winds me up when people think they know how much pain YOU are feeling, and think they are entitled to voice their opinion on you when it is obvious you are hurting. Total lack of tact. I hope you give them a good talking to when you're feeling better. Friends, and especially boyfriends, don't treat the people they love like that. Grrr. Definitely a sore spot for me if you can't tell, LOL.
I was able to get around with some discomfort, but overall fine after about two days. After a week it was alright. The holes closed up in a reasonable amount of time. The first day was a bit more on the painful side but I had some good drugs, the annoying part is having to clean out the stitches/openings after you eat. And then FINDING things to eat that didn't bring you discomfort. But the best part of the procedure was...Potbelly's Milkshakes! :)
Hope you start to feel better soon.
