How do you handle those intrusive thoughts. What has worked in the past?
What plans have you to improve this and with what tools?
Does your feeling of dying only come once a week like the therapist visit. If it does not then seems like the dying thoughts have the stage 99% of the time and you have an hour a week. If that is not working you have two choices well two obvious choices.
Suffer while you go once a week or make a change in your approach.
These intrusive thoughts filled with highly charged emotion sends many to the doctor.
There are plenty of tools available to you. Have you ever thought of working on your own time. It is your life. Have you thought of trying to improve yourself?
I guess you need to soul search and see how much you want to heal. It does help to see your life in maybe 6 months periods of improvement or decline.
it's time to let your energy out in good ways instead of keeping it all bottled up. it's that backed up feeling that is making you feel as you do.
we have the power to scare ourselves and we have the power to remind ourselves of just how capable we are. it is our choice, every day: walk by faith or walk by fear.

anyway my point is its designed to alert us to immediate life or death which perhaps translated in our day in age as some rare disease or cancer,some whier our brains interpret the signal as some thing is SERIOUSLY wrong,and it feels very real,perhaps that is because our body is actually working the way its supposed to as far as addrenaline and the fight or flight,its just going off at an in appropriate time,to add to this confusions our minds is then left with the task of interpreting the immediate danger signal when the only thing around are birds chirping or something,so the best it can think of is cancer-you follow? like i said im not a doctor just trying to make sense of this the same as you--i sincerely hope you feel better good luck
