Meditation also helped. Many people think that they can not meditate because their minds wander too much. But meditation is actually the art of learning to quiet the mind. Many people will get a meditation cd and listen to it as this keeps your attention out of your mind and on the the speaker doing the meditation. It is a good thing that you are talking about it though and it can really help to get everything out and see it all in one place. I would suggest writing everything down that you worry about and look at them a different way if you can. Try to turn things into positive statements like "I've come so far that I am thinking of grad school'. You may see things that you wrote that just seem silly and it can help to just realize this. Everytime you get a worrying thought you should try and think of something positive if possible. It will help.
It always good to have someone to talk to and it can really help, I found someone recently that helps me stay positive and the change is amazing. If you don't have a close friend to talk to then therapy is a good option.
