Perhaps it's asthma? I know that when I started a certain med( I don't take now) It caused me to yawn every second. Yawining was incessant. It even said on the label that it does! Try to take a deep deep breaths. It's going to be difficult b/c of your yawning. What yawning is it is your brain tryin to get more oxygen.

It's more than likely the anxiety.... I went through that at one time. Now I'm just to the point where I'm constantly tired. Anxiety wears your body down. My psychologist taught me a breathing technique... inhale 3 or 4 times, real fast, almost like hyperventilating... it will get oxygen to your brain... youre gonna yawn afterwards and could even get a little dizzy for a minute but it works. It also will help an oncoming panic attack if you can do this in the very beginning.

It is definitely anxiety. I have the same symptoms. Feeling like I cant breathe, or heavy chest, or choking. Then I find myself fatigue and yawning. It's a vicious cycle of anxiety. And somewhere along those symptoms will trigger my anxiety. Lol. You just have to find a gap to break it.

I had the same thing happen to me. I still have it from time to time, sometimes are worse than others. What helped me finally get through it was my doctor ran tests to show me my lungs were healthy and running at full capacity and that there was no medical reason for it other than my anxiety. Helped tremendously, so now when it happens I'm not terrified and thinking I'm going to die or going to the er for it. Maybe if you did that it would put your mind at ease? Best of luck

Sounds like shortness of breath, i get this to. But it doesnt last to long. I have other things that usually happen, like i get dizzy and lightheaded, distorted vision, and drunk feeling ALOT. But after the anxiety starts to calm down, i start yawning alot. To the point where i want to take a nap. Anxiety really works up your body and get all kinds of symptons with it. So when it calms down you start to get tired.
