This is what I did.
I realized that all of my dreams every night were visual representations of what I was repressing into my mind. Do you suffer from extreme anxiety?
All of that worry and fear follows you even into REM sleep. Neuro- circuits in the brain are still activated and it releases stored emotion as it spill into your REM sleep state. The dreams aren't causing you to feel said emotion. Its vise versa. Your emotion are causing the dreams to happen.
Recommendation: I seriously seriously SERIOUSLY suggest picking up meditation. This is what cured me.
Regardless if you have religious affiliation or not, meditation trains your brains to focus on nothing, therefore causing better focus on all things afterwords.
I highly advise to start doing it every night before bed for 10-20 min.
Once you see the positive outcome, start doing it every morning as well. I PROMISE YOU. Things will start to change for the better.
Here where you can start to learn. Best wishes
