Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I have had anxiety so bad for so many years now it's rediculous. I have seizure like attacks sometimes. They come out of the blue too, I never know when they will hit me. I do know that when I am under heavy stress and anxiety they are worse and more often. It's starts out where I become very dizzy, eyes roll back and I go limp. I can still hear and kind of see sometimes what is going on around me if my vision doesn't go black. The attack only lasts a few minutes usually and at the end I vomit. I've been to the hospital for them and they say I have no seizure activity showing in my brain activity. It's very scary and scares the hell out of me and everyone around me when it happens. I"m telling you this because you get dizzy too. The last big one I had, hit me even sitting down. The best bet is to get out of your life what is causing all the anxiety or you have to try to understand it and deal with it the best that you can. I know, harder to do than say but it is true. I also have had to deal with it most of the time cold turkey. I can take ativan which I started taking almost a year ago and thank god for that. It has been the only thing I seem to be able to take without all the side affects.
Hang in there and good luck with your job, you will be fine.
Mine began back in 91 and I am still trusting God for a complete healing. I know that in the Bible Paul tells us to count it a blessing where go through trails and suffering. I know it is hard to imagine that what we are going through is really good for us but I don't think had I gone through these panic attacks/anxiety my faith would not be on the level it is. I know that if you keep asking God to help you he will:).
