Take care
Thanks for helping!
I always considered this just a personal flaw but now I understand it's part of my anxiety disorder.
I guess my advice to you would be to just power through it and get it done. If the online application is too confusing, just fill out the paper one. Call the admissions officer or whoever if you are confused about parts of it. They get paid to answer questions like that.
As far as making decisions, just remember that not deciding is also a decision. It's a decision to hang back instead of moving forward. So, no matter what you have to choose, even if you feel like you don't know enough to make a decision. We all make decisions with inadequate information. You just have to take an educated guess. Hope that helps.
I have to add that I am the queen of procrastination and having a hard time with decisions and paperwork as well.
What I have found is there is no perfect way of doing anything....that includes paperwork. I'm 53 years old and I have learned that there is no shame in asking for help. I use to be embarrassed to ask for help becuz I thought ppl would think I'm stupid. I realize now that is not true.....and to heck with those that do think that.
Life is a learning process and nobody can know all the answers to everything.
As you get older, you will accumulate more information and become wiser. For now......you are just learning the ways of the world and venturing out on your own......pretty scary from what I remember. Life is full of decisions and each has it's own consequence. It's all trial and error. You will make good decisions and not so good decisions.....that is life's lessons. You can't possibly know the outcome of most situations.....but if you learn from your mistakes or mistakes of others....you will become more skilled and confident.
I have made huge mistakes....they have cost me tons of money. What I have learned......read the fine print!!! LOL
What I have told my children is you won't live long enough to make all the mistakes there is in life.....so learn from others mistakes. Most decisions are based on common sense.....follow your gut....it's usually right.
Just hang in there.....don't sweat the paperwork. I'm sure there is someone to help you.....just ask someone. As far as decisions....weigh the options and again.....ask for opinions or help if you can't make up your mind......research is also a good thing. The internet is helpful for research for most things.
Good luck!
