This is only what happened to me. I am not saying you are the cause of office issues. But since you already understand that the only person you can change is yourself, maybe you need to work on why it is so important to you that these people talk to you and acknowledge you. Were you ignored in your family? Does your family not listen to you now? Its amazing how much our upbringing defines who we are and how we act. If you can trace this back to your past maybe you should concentrate on yourself and work with a therapist. It can do wonders to have someone who listens. Even if they are paid to listen.
Take care
Work is work, and if your peers see you as a problem that's their issue. People love to blame others at work, especially if it is a "shit rolls down hill" gig. Ask yourself this, would they give you a piece of bread on your worst day hunger wise? Only you know that assumptive answer but they sound too demanding and you sound like you need more appreciation, so let them bitch and complain on their own and move around. If you are working while they are using their time to complain about you, the boss is going to see your movement extinguishing their crtiques automatically, so let the haters hate, they only really hate themselves too much to focus or manufacture their own remedies. It's ok to have the "sink or swim" attitude when it comes to unsupporting co-workers. They either value teamwork or they are only out for themselves, it really is that cut and dry or thorough.
In the mean time give yourself a break when others won't, that's real freedom.
