Be okay with feeling lightheaded and dizzy. No one knows but you. When it is okay to be dizzy then dizzy will not exist.

I am extremely anxious in grocery stores many times I get half way through my shopping and have to just leave my cart and go. I feel very light headed and my legs shake...anxiety. Since I am not okay with it I too get very frustrated. Your not alone.

I actually completely avoid Wal-Mart and other large stores. I barely drive anymore. I can ride in the care with my husband, but riding with other people causes anxiety. When I am in the store I feel like I am going to faint from being dizzy. My legs began to feel heavy and then I feel disconnected from my body and reality.

I usually have trouble with Walmart and similar stores as well as smaller grocery stores where it seems that no matter where I am standing/shopping someone else needs to be in that space. I sometimes go into a quiet section and just stand out of the way until I can leave the store. I have occasionally left my cart and gone quickly out of the store. Then I get mad at myself for doing it.

You're actually probably hyperventilating...sucking in too much oxygen...causing dizziness, confusion, paranoia....the list goes on! I used to spazz in stores and while driving. It was like, "Watch out, I'm coming thru!!!" Me stopping for a red light was terrifying, so I've plowed thru many an orange light! Those were the days! The bank was one of my top one fears...yes, the bank. I hated waiting in line, but more than that was signing my paycheck in front of the watchful gleering eyes of the dreaded teller. ha. Like I was trying to pass a bad or something. These fears may seem silly, and funny to some who've never experienced it. But when your ears start ringing, your legs start a-quivering, and you fear you're losing control, it feels mighty real! I can bank, shop, and drive like no one's business now, but not so long ago....And I never ripped off my clothes or did a gig anywhere. ha. hugs!

Yes, I get anxious in the car sometimes...it is frustrating because I used to never be that way. I'm getting better though, with lots of prayer and meditating on bible scriptures. I recently went to the healthfood store looking for calcium and magnesium--Vitamin D and a lady had recommended the liquid kind (some people may be deficient in that vitamin and it may help to lower your anxiety). I also drink a little chamomile tea to relax. I pray you find what's best for you.
