Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Why do you feel that they may hurt you? As you stated, you used to be good friends with them. Is it a rational thought to think that they will really hurt you? Is it also possible that you lost your connection? I.E. they are dry or make something else up that is believable. Try and direct the reason for not being able to get it away, so it seems as though it's not your fault perhaps?
I suppose it is not really rational that they may hurt me...but this person is prone to mood swings. I have seen him curse at customers before. He also has gotten nasty with me once when he first started working with me (where I work it is very stressful and I asked him to do something and he blew up at me). He is just a very big person and I am very small...I suppose I am just afraid and it is the fear that is making me think these things. I have an idea to tell him this lie: that my mom turned me in for possession and that I can't do it anymore because I am on probation and the charges are serious. I think I will go with that lie.
A friend that I know used to get it for me from his source (a genuine dealer). The genuine dealer is not accepting more clients. So I just need to tell my co-worker "no" and go with the excuse that I am was turned in for possession and can't do it anymore.
You're post made me realize how exhausting this all was...so thank you!
If anyone has any other advice or suggestions, please let me know. I am open to hearing what others think about this.
His habit is his business and not yours. Trust me, he will not push the subject. You can always say you heard a rumor of random drug testing at your job. That'll shut him up in a hurry.
Good luck to you and stay clean. I wish you well.
If I was a female in this situation, I'd look for a picture of some big young tough looking guy, and I'd put his picture in a nice frame on my desk. Then when this guy at work asks you who it is just tell him "its a friend', and give a little sigh like your in love with him and stare at the picture for a few seconds, then walk away and say " he's my kind of guy, I just wish he wouldn't do all that karate fighting in the gym." Trust me, that will freak out Mr. Big Mouth. And you'll probably never hear another peep out of him. Because he sounds like stupid big mouth bully.
@kacc: thank you for the encouragement! :)
dont let him in your house, either.
how come this LOSER cant get his own grass...? THAT says everything; maybe other people avoid the gun/knife nutcase, too.
grass is supposed to mellow you out. guns/knives and grass dont sound like some 1960s hippy match; more charlie manson-ish.
I am going to go with saying that I lost my connection. I no longer need anymore advice. Thank you all to read and posted replies! :)
