Mine aren't till late afternoon or evening.
Yours obviously are at work.
I would say go to the bathroom and throw COLD water in your face and back if your neck. Sort of shock yourself back.
I'm not sure if your having one after another. Or a long attack all day. Obviously if your forced to really think about things at work, your forgetting about the anxiety. But once you have a slow or boring few minutes, I think the anxiety is still in the back if your mind and pushes forward.
For me, I use the cold water as a sort if shock treatment. And since I'm Not at work, I'll walk around in the cold. That helps me a lot. Can you take a break and just walk out side a bit?
For me..... even eating ice cream helps. Its a feel good food and its cold. I keep a lot of ice cream on a stick in the frig.
According to Mayo Clinic, during panic attacks,do some deep breathing exercise — tensing one muscle at a time, and then completely releasing the tension until every muscle in the body is relaxed. Physical activities and listening to music can also help in calming your mood and to feel relaxed.
It's also beneficial if you join a group with panic attacks or anxiety disorders, it will help you to connect with others facing the same problems. I hope you will get better soon. I pray for peace and strength that you need everyday. God bless.
