Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I can't seem to get my anxiety under control today. I have listened to my relaxing music, I have did my breathing, I have step away from my work area but for some reason nothing is working for me. I think I will just need to take my meds. Didn't want to while at work but now I just feel like If I don't I will not be able to finish out my work day. I just want to scream. But on a better note. Both of my bestfriends have informed me that I am not along with this battle with anxiety. They both have anxiety disorders. One has had it since she was a little girl.

The best antidepressant is when my wishes are honored. An example, the faucet in my apartment was running although the knobs were turned shut all the way, and one of the pulling strings on my ceiling fan came off. As soon as I notified my maintenance man, he was quick to reply with the work order. RAPID response... he's getting my services around my apartment done. I appreciate my landlord and...

Hello,so I'm currently in a weird relationship with my long distance ex who I've never met in person and it's taking a toll on me. I've lost 15 pounds and lost my appetite, but I'm really attached to him. We've had a lot of problems and I think that has caused me to gain severe anxiety. I don't know if I should wait until it gets better or what. Everytime I've blocked him, it has tend to make me...

Cakemix ~ meditation and apps for it are great. However, it alone will not combat anxiety.
I have found Ann93's advice to be a big key to ridding anxiety and panic attacks.
I have discovered in an "awakening" that our foods are mostly crap. We need REAL food......not packaged (fake food). Foods full of toxins and GMO mess with our DNA as well as are poisoning us. How could it NOT mess with our brain and bodies? I eat WAAAAYYYYYYY healthier than I did. I made the excuses of "it is too expensive"........."I don't have time to fix it"...........and a host of other excuses.
Take control of your health. I am off 3 medicines and have one to go and that is happening soon.
I find doctor and health insurance more expensive than a healthy diet.
Also......forward head posture and sitting long periods of time do NOT allow us to breath properly which starves our brains of oxygen needed to function optimally.
Forward head posture is caused by a host of issues and is a bone structure problem. Most of it is caused by looking down at your cell phones, tablets, and other tech toys.
There is a doctor on youtube.....actually a few that explain this major issue and how it can be fixed. It has taken me over a year to slowly get my head posture back in alignment. I changed my diet to fix "leaky gut" which is an area where most issues/diseases......and yes.....anxiety stem from.
Look up youtube clips from: Dr. John Bergman and Dr. Allan Mendell (motivational doc).
Also, Jason Stephenson has some great guided meditations for anxiety.
Also......turn OFF the news and any other social media. They are fanning the flame and putting fear into you. Hint.....it's easier to control the masses when we live in fear.
I am proof that anxiety and panic attacks can be overcome. No meds for me and a much healthier lifestyle are the cure. And one more thing. Toxic people.....they are everywhere. Stay away the best you can. I had to drop family members and some clients. You can NOT change them. You can only change yourself. Some of the tactic can be covert and you don't realize it until you become a drooling, anxiety ridden pile of goo. My best advice is to RUN and don't look back. It has taken me 2 decades to recover from some toxic peeps. The healing can't take place until you get away and stay away from toxic people.
Ok......gonna get off my soap box.
Everyone have an excellent day.
If you get a chance......get outside and hug a tree :)
Love and light to all!!!!
MsBlank1- yes, diet and posture are so important. Getting outside and enjoying nature is also so good for us. These computers and cell phones are doing us in. The posture issue you also mentioned is also interesting. I have that problem and will have to research it more.
