Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
You know this is a very easy trap to fall into. I did it myself. For some reason when i first got my condition I started having panic attacks every friday afternoon and as much as i tried i just could not ignor the impending doom that decended on me every thursday which of course lead to a build up of anxiety and of course in turn "switched on" all of my symptoms. Once you are in this trap its very hard to get out of it but what you have to identify is the fact that your anxiety is actually accentuating your condition. If you are anxious it will effect your bowel and yes you will bloat up.
You have to learn (as hard as it is) to ignor your anxiety and learn not to worry about it. It will help if you cut out as many stimulants as you can and try as much as you can to keep active and keep your mind occupied. That sounds simple but it isnt as the body is a complex machine and will not be fooled easy by your mind but trust me it will help. I have learned these symptoms are like a little bully inside you and the only way to deal with bullies is to ignor them, Yes they will throw a strop and get even worse but eventually you will win
I ate one time my favorite dish "veal parmesan" in restaurant. I usually do not eat unhealthy staff like that (fried, smoked, spicy) but I was always making exception for this particular dish.
I was throwing up for at least 5 hours. It was in the evening so one store got closed I had to run to the other, than that one got closed I went into mall. People was thinking that I got bird flu. Than I went home and was throwing up anything I ate or drank because my stomach was empty but that feeling of nausea would not go away. Needless to say I do not eat "veal parmesan" anymore.
I am very anxious person but that condition had nothing to do with anxiety. I was so busy that I even had not time to have panic attack and get scared that I am poisoned.
For the same reason I do not go to "Golden Coral". I ran to restroom to throw up even before rest of the crue finished eating. I even had not time to exit the restaurant.
