Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

What you say about 'reliving' it or 'remember' it, you're having that conversation inside your head frequently. To release those words to view and put aside will change how you see them.
Best wishes.
You said having that conversation inside my head..oh my that conversation never stops. So what exactly am I writing out, those thoughts Im having,? my symptoms?
I journal about whatever is dominating my thoughts when I begin each journal entry. Could be thoughts, memories, symptoms, dreams, inspirations or the woman in the moon. I allow myself to change the theme on a whim. Non-sequiturs It's all fair game. I go wherever the mysteries guide me.
I have done stories, articles, movies, doodling, snowball, and each of them provides clues.
I like the way Arfie puts it, going where ever the mysteries take the words to.
The hardest part was to just write, not think. Once I started doing that, I found myself sharing different ideas when I reread the entries later on.
Sometimes i cannot talk to people about how I am feeling but I can write it out. Its ot unheard of for me to share my journal with my therapist too so i can further process the happenings in my life.
On the more generalized anxieties, journaling purges allot of the verbal vomit before I start looking for help and/or validation from the people who are stupid enough to like and/or love me. Even the most patient and compassionate souls have human limits on how much they can listen to.
Thanks you all are great.
The way my journaling goes, is I just write about anything. I seem to start it because I am anxious about something and I just need to get out all my feelings in a safe, private place. Or I am mad about something that happened, so I just write and write about how I feel.
Write whatever you want. It is a personal thing. You even could literally start with "Okay, I am starting my journaling today. I don't know what to write., I don't even know if this will help me, but here goes. Today I talked to Susie and it kind of upset me because she said (this this and this) and it made me mad and I don't know why she did that. Then I made lunch and that was really good, I had a turkey sandwich and I like this kind of bread, I like that store that I got it at....."
Meaning, just write anything. And the feelings will come out.
I don't really go back and read many of my journals. But that is up to you.
There is no right or wrong way to journal. I hope it helps you!
Write anything. Whatever you write will be interesting one way or another.
