Tips: DO NOT take laxatives. They handicap your body's ability to know when and how to have a bowel movement on their own, and they deprive you are necessary intestinal flora and fauna. Instead, drink lots of water, eat leafy greens, lay low on the dairy and sugar. take walks. Sit on the toilet two or three times per day but DO not give more than one gentle push to start - or none at all - you don't want to give yourself a hernia (I have one, and OUCH!).

I get really painful stomach cramps at times. Then other times I have just a dull ache in my lower stomach and I dont know what exactly it is. That scares me!
Its amazing how we worry about these things but we mostly end up fine.
