Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I will look for a counselor but who knows when I will have time to stop and see one
I know that it feels like you can not escape the problem(s) that are causing it, but in reality, while stuck in anxiety or panic, you are not able to figure out a solution.....hence, feeling hopeless.
The thing I love about therapy or sharing your issue with others, is they may have a solution you did not think of or were too afraid to do.
Years ago when my dad was sick and lived thousands of miles away, I had to go often to visit him, leaving my own family to fend for themselves which always tore me in two.
I hated seeing them as my parents were mean and caused me great anxiety.
My therapist gave me 3 choices to choose from that I thought may upset the apple cart, but she helped me review which one I could actually use and be the least upsetting for me.
Recently, I had to make a big decision that would really upset the apple cart, but if I didn't make this decision, it could have cost me my life as it was taking a toll on my health big time.
We are taught that taking care of ourselves or making ourselves priority is being selfish when in fact, it is self love and preservation....and there is nothing wrong with that. We can not love or help others if we don't take care of ourselves.....needs and wants first, we can not love or help others.
The stress we put on ourselves, does cause the body to break down. We don't eat right and become sick as we become vitamin and mineral deficient. I had to learn this the hard way and it DOES cause anxiety and panic attacks.
The foods, water, and air are full of toxins. Now add pharma meds long term and voila......brain fog, fears, ill feeling, nausea, pain, headaches.......and a host of multiple mental and physical issues.
I could go on and I sound like a broken record, but I can not stress it enough.
It takes several things and not just one vitamin or pill to cure anxiety and disease as our bodies are made up of several layers of complicated systems that work together in harmony. Long term stress breaks this all down......so I suggest to deal with the thing that is stressing you out.
Exercise, eat right, drink plenty of water, do deep breathing/meditation, and turn off negative media, and limit or eliminate negative ppl in your life.
Take supplements where needed......however, eating plenty of fresh veggies and fruits is the best way to go.
I wish you and everyone the best. Take what works for you and leave the rest.
Love and light......and healing for all <3
A separation after 16 and me not knowing a solid future is killing me. I’m trying to be strong and he says that he will never let the kids struggle. But my whole is changing and I feel like I’m falling with not end in site
Hon, I went through a VERY bitter divorce (5 years and 3 months).
My ex called my therapist and told her I could never make it without him. He said he would never give me money and I didn't have enough to make it.
I spent 27 years of my life with him and we had 3 children together (no other kids involved).
He was soooo abusive and I allowed it out of fear of leaving.
The last nail in the coffin was when I told him he could no longer hit me or hold me down and choke me......so he moved on to our kids and dog.
I was trying to save enough money to get away, but things got ugly very quickly and I had to leave and take two of the kids with me (one was already grown and on her own).
I had $69 to my name and my small business was not doing so well at the time. I cashed in an annuity that I had been saving and it was enough to get me on my feet.....but not without struggles.
I will admit that it was a struggle for a few years, but it kept getting better and better becuz I just concentrated on me!
The struggles made me stronger and more determined.
I just entered my 9 year into divorce (14 years away from my ex) and I have more money......a wonderful home......and I am regaining my health every day (I took control right away. I made some errors, but have been able to correct them).
Life is always uncertain and we only have right now. We may not always like the circumstances, but they change minute by minute.
We are a work in progress and that is how life works.
We need the polarity in order to see how life works and so we can appreciate the good things.
I never thought life could be this good......but it is.
Yeah, I still have some really bad days, but I know that it won't always be bad and the sun will always come out again.
Embrace change instead of fearing or running from it as it is inevitable.
I know you will make it. Just do your best and know that the Universe, Source, or God (which ever you choose to call it) has your back at all times.
Opportunities will come to you. So where one door closes, another opens.
If we spend our time worrying about the future or lamenting on our past, we can not live in the moment and we miss new opportunities that can change our life in so many good ways!
Do some guided meditations from youtube. I love Jason Stephenson's work.
I also love "TheReachApproach" work.
This will help ground you and soothe your soul :)
