General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I hate how easily anxiety is triggered, and how long it seems to linger even after the triggering event has passed.
I also hate the worrying. I am trying to talk myself down. Deep breathing, positive thoughts. Telling myself that worrying is unproductive. But, ugh.
This sucks.

I have been thinking the very same thing. I hate it as well but that is a negative so I just go on about my day trying not to think to much of anything, at night I have started reading again. Focusing only on what I am reading at the time. I am with you!

I know exactly what you mean. I have been dealing with constant anxiety. I'm always shaking inside and out, it always feels hard to breathe and I have dizzy spells. I was just put on medication once again yesterday because it just became too unbearable this time. But it seems like the panic attack symptoms I had after my panic attack last Monday just stuck. It's the worst feeling in the world. I hope you are feeling better. Keep doing the breathing and positive thinking and just remember YOU are in control of how you respond to the anxiety. Don't feed your fear. Have a wonderful day. :)

Strugglingeveryday, I hate that you are in the same boat with me, but it's good to have company. I do feel a bit better after a quick power nap at lunch. I'm sure I will feel even better after my run this evening. I've had a hard time keeping my motivation to exercise, but I know that I need to keep a regular routine. Thanks for your kind words, and I hope that you have a wonderful day too.

Hi Absflo15. I have had that heavy, tingly feeling in my chest all day. I didn't get to go for my run today. Even though the weather report said zero chance of rain- we had thunderstorms. I hope to try again tomorrow. I am off to bed. Have a good night.
