just stop. My mother bless her, said a lady never runs. She was always telling me off for hurrying. "It projects stress" she would say. "others will feel uncomfortable."
And of course, a lady never makes another person feel uncomfortable.
So you must stop. Find your centre. Take that five mintues to figure things out. If you move too fast you will trip up over your own feet. You will make others uncomfortable.
Over the years I have come upon a lot of anxious people, who have no idea I have anxiety of any kind, because I have learned not to act on it. And I tell them 'hey, it's okay. we can wait for you.'
they give me documents 'i'm not sure if it's correct' - don't worry, I say. we can fix it if it's got an error.
Just... be kind to you! Nobody wants you miserable. That's the thing. Nobody wants you miserable. they'd much rather you were cheerful and made the odd error, than that you were freaked out, exuding waves of panic and stress all day, but absolutely perfect all the time.
nobody can hack that. We all make errors, we all do things wrong. We are all human. You're allowed to be human too.

When you feel a bit dizzy, let the air out slowly. Shut your eyes and tell yourself what you are going to do. Don't run. Walk. Smile. Relax. Well, depending on your job!
You have trained yourself into rushing in a panic. And you have to train yourself back out. You have given in to anxiety, and now you have to stand against anxiety. You have let your fears dominate you, and now you have to dominate them.
it's a power struggle, and an ego type fight. But you will find if you operate at normal human speed that you don't make too many errors, and that the world doesn't end, and you don't lose your job, and you still get it all done. you're operating in microseconds. Panicking wastes more time than it saves.
