Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Why do you feel the need to do so?
Describe what the sensations feel like...not what it is labeled as but for example, "Anxiety you feel like a sharp rod in my chest" or "Anxiety you feel like someone is standing on my chest." Like that, use metaphors, that will be enough to let the anxiety know it is heard and it will go away easier.
Remember only you can control yourself. You are in control. You are strong. This feeling/thought/sensation/event is temporary and will pass.
When you arent in the midst of the anxiety then you should analyze and try to figure out what your triggers may be, what has happened to you or around you, or what you are projecting of future events.
If you talk about it out loud or write it down, it helps the search to get deeper to the root of it all.
