I went to my dr appt yesterday and did get a ct scan of my head. They didn't see anything, which makes me feel better, but I feel very sick at my stomach. I am still not eating. Have lost down to 118 lbs. Does anyone else get the sick stomach? My arms are also very weak. I am at work but feel like I need to go back home.

At my worst I had to drink Ensure to make sure I got some nurshiment. Also just plain white rice is easy on my stomach or I pick at a bagel. You've got to get some calories even if its a milkshake.

I drank a Boost Plus this morning and bought me a v8 juice on my way to work. I am going to try and drink that in a while. Usually, I can eat at night when I lay in my bed and turn on a good movie. That is my security place where I feel most comfortable.

I am curious as to WHY you are anxious? Is it about people around you? is it ... what? I agree about eating lightly, and add smaller portions with more frequency.

I don't really know what causes my anxiety. I have 3 children, daughter's boyfriend, and grandbaby living with me as well as full time job with lots of deadlines and responsibility. I have always handled all of that well. My daughter began to have severe panic attacks 6 months ago and I tried to help her and listened to her constantly until I think it just got into my mind. I'm not sure how I got here, just wish I could find my way out!!!!

Well, I have no 'degrees', but it sounds like you are empathic. I think you may need personal 'filters' so that you do not take anyone else's problems AS your own. You cannot be much good to yourself or anyone else if you are both distracted and drained. One thing I have learned (not being very good at 'sitting down' meditation) is what I call 'meditation on the fly'. I try to stay centered all through my day, and often take deep breaths.

I've had a lot of stomach related anxiety. For some reason when my head doesn't feel good, my stomach doesn't feel good and vice versa. I'm trying to train my brain to realize that one doesn't have to cause the other.

I think I am in perimenopause which is causing my anxiety to kick in. I am in the process of getting my hormones tested. In the mean time I lost over 15 pounds in about 2 months. i also have no appetite. I drink boost to get nourishment and also force myself to eat easy things that go down. When at times i get hungry I just eat all that I can at that moment. I know it is scary when i can't eat. I know I would feel so much better if i got my appetite back. Good Luck!!

my stomach is very much tied to my emotions. I am a natural stuffer, good at not dealing with unpleasantness. I think i have my anxiety under control, i believe i'm doing well and my head may be fooled but my stomach keeps score.
